Dr. Nicole "Neeka" Levy is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to integrating evidence-based psychiatry with lifestyle, functional, and complementary approaches to mental wellness. Her philosophy recognizes that mental health is influenced by the whole person-mind, body, relationships, and environment-and she partners with patients to create individualized treatment plans grounded in both science and compassion.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Dr. Levy spent five years as an acute inpatient psychiatric registered nurse within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, caring for veterans experiencing severe mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychiatric crises. Those experiences continue to shape her commitment to trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
Dr. Levy earned dual bachelor's degrees in neuroscience and nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her PMHNP and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Johns Hopkins University.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Levy has served as a researcher, educator, speaker, and policy advocate, contributing to the advancement of psychedelic-assisted therapies, trauma-informed care, and mental health education for healthcare professionals, veterans, and first responders. She remains passionate about expanding access to innovative, ethical, and evidence-informed approaches to psychiatric care while empowering patients to participate actively in their healing.

As a former U.S. Marine and Iraq War veteran, Dr. Zach Skiles has dedicated his career to advancing trauma-informed care for veterans and communities affected by war. His clinical, research, and educational work focuses on post-traumatic stress, moral injury, and the responsible integration of psychedelic-assisted therapies within evidence-based mental health care.
Dr. Skiles began his career as a peer counselor for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and later helped establish one of the first PTSD clinics in South Sudan for veterans and family members of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army. He subsequently trained as a clinical psychologist within the Northern California and Northern Arizona VA Health Care Systems, with experience spanning trauma clinics, inpatient psychiatry, correctional settings, and residential treatment programs.
As a postdoctoral scholar at UCSF, Dr. Skiles contributed to multiple psychedelic clinical trials as both a study therapist and researcher. While serving as Lead Therapist at the Portland VA Medical Center, he facilitated the Veterans Health Administration’s first psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy clinical trial and the first MDMA-assisted group psychotherapy trial conducted in the United States. His work has also included psychedelic-assisted therapies within U.S. Special Operations communities through The Mission Within and serving as resident psychologist for Heroic Hearts Project’s domestic psilocybin retreats under Oregon Psilocybin Services.
Dr. Skiles has collaborated internationally to develop culturally responsive approaches to trauma care. He continues to contribute to psychedelic research, education, and clinical practice through The Mission Within, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and as a Visiting Scholar with the Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics at UC Berkeley. His broader clinical experience with severe mental illness, complex trauma, and substance use disorders informs an approach grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care rather than any single treatment modality.

Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris is the Ralph Metzner Distinguished Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco and one of the world's leading researchers in psychedelic neuroscience.
His research has helped define the modern scientific understanding of how psychedelic compounds affect the brain and consciousness. He has designed and led pioneering neuroimaging studies involving psilocybin, LSD, MDMA, and DMT, as well as clinical trials investigating psilocybin-assisted therapy for psychiatric conditions.
Previously, Dr. Carhart-Harris founded and led the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London. His work continues to shape the scientific foundation of psychedelic medicine and our understanding of the relationship between brain function, mental health, and psychological change.
He serves as a scientific advisor and research consultant to the board, helping guide the organization’s clinical and research direction through an evidence-based lens.
